Ok, so i am a big Xbox fanboy, but sometimes the company irritates me.
Issue 1) Why does Microsoft’s own game store not give you the same options as Amazon and Gamestop? In my case why do you not get into the Destiny Beta when buying from them but you do from the other major stores? (Gamestop almost immediately replied on twitter with a link to the gamestop sale that does include it lol)
Issue 2) Why is it so dang hard to contact the store about issues? No scratch that, WHY do i have to contact them at all? Unlike EVERYONE ELSE on the internet, you not only cannot edit your orders via a webpage, they don’t even give you a way to talk to someone on the website or give you an email address. You have to call them on the phone. Phone trees and on hold yay! Person who wont stop trying to read you a commercial before you hang up at the end even when you say “no thanks” yay! (Now they did have a nice call back feature and i did get my problem fixed within moments after talking to someone. But still…phone calls..seriously?!)
Issue 3) I turned to twitter to ask them about this and it seems they are more interested in how they look than answering questions that could effect sales. It took way too many tweets to finally get out of them that they are not participating in the beta.
I had really been looking forward to having all my games sales attached to my Live xbox account. Oh well, amazon prime you win again.
Still looking forward to the ONE though. The 22nd cant come soon enough
